Do you think RUS could finally compete without major mistakes? They have been looking great through these last weeks and today it was confirmed. I'm only nervous for the third beam spot. In your opinion are they more consistent than these last teams?

Well they looked great today but still had three falls so.. that’s about Russia in a nutshell.

I hope they have a competition without any falls, that would be great. I think this team could be one of the most consistent yet.. Aliya will be great, Masha only has problems with the Van Leeuwen on bars, Dasha has been getting more and more consistent over the last few months (though has low D scores on VT and FX), Katya is doing wonderfully (though misses some stamina on FX), Alla is getting very consistent on vault and floor and could possibly add an ok score on the other two events if necessary, Tanya is looking probably the best she has ever looked on vault and also looks great on bars.. Yeah, at first I was like ‘lol I mean I love Russia but consistency is not their thing’, but if you break it down a little bit.. it could happen? But it probably won’t, and that’s ok because I like them either way.

That's the one. Sorry, I forgot if it was a Tkatchev or Jaeger. Thanks, anyway :)

No problem! :)

That's great! What would be her D score if she performed the combo she was training in 2011 (piked jaeger + pak + the usual)? I know she won't do it, but I'm just curious.

You mean the one time she did some kind of full turn into Tkachev into Pak into Chow 1/2? Probably like .1 or .2 higher.

Did Aliya upgrade her 6.3 on the uneven bars for Worlds?

It sounds like she’ll be doing her Olympic bar routine, which would be a 6.7 now.
